Consistency Determination Apparatus

The consistency determination apparatus is used for the evaluation of pulp and for all mill control purposes where consistency is required to be determined. During the evaluation, depending upon the consistency of stock, drainage time, control of basic weight and freeness can be determined. This equipment renders a simple and rapid technique for identifying the consistency of a pulp suspension in freeness tests. This method can be used for variety of pulps.

Fabrication
The consistency determination apparatus comprises top container, which is fitted with quick release clips, sealed to a wire screen using a soft rubber gasket. Available in varied designs, sizes and specifications, the screen of this instrument is supported over a drainage cone to which a vacuum line is attached.
