air filter test rig. It consists of a test filter of 980 mm height,
control panel for operation mode and operators and an airflow measuring
unit which is provided with orifice plate and pressure tapping across
it. Other characteristics are :
- Facility of centrifugal blower of 1500 cfm and static head of
150 mm.
- Ducting of 200 mm diameter used in test equipment.
- Provision for the mounting of test filter.
- Butterfly valve to adjust different flow rate.
- Blower impeller directly mounted on the shaft of the motor.
- Provision for the mounting of HEPA filter with conical duct at
both end.
- Tapping for particle counter fitted with solenoid valve for
taking upstream and downstream count.
- Dust feeder fitted with vibrating tray to add measured quantity
of the dust.
- Arrangement of ducting mounted on trolley for easy mounting of
test filter and loading and unloading of HEPA filter.
- Duct fitted with Piezometer ring on the upstream and downstream
pneumatic cylinders for clamping of test filter.
