Seaming machines are machines that mechanically attach two separate components in an authentic and hermetic manner. They ensure air, liquid and bacteria tight seaming to prevent any type of leakage and spoilage. The main function of the seaming machine is to seam the containers, big or small, and to keep it in the same condition for long periods, and specially in very adverse situations.

The seaming machines are specialized for Filters, Cans, Drums, Electrical Capacitors, etc. In filter machine manufacturing industry, they are mainly used for seaming spin-on-design filter housings and top covers. They ensure that there is no leakage problems in all types of filters specially oil filters. Their accurate working ensure leak proof filter sealing. They can also be used for operating on automotive filters, hydraulic filters and industrial filters.

Working
Seaming machine unite the edges of sheet-metal plates by bending them and pinching them together. They do so by joining two pieces of sheet metal by interlocking 3 or 5 layers and then pressing them together. Their working cycle involve two stages. First they join the two pieces of sheet metal and then rolls them together to give them greater strength. Then by applying a suitable sealant paste they can be made watertight.

Applications
Seaming machines are used in a wide range of industries. They can be used for seaming different types of materials and products. From seaming smaller beverage cans to bigger oil tankers, they are an important constituent of major industries. Some of the most recognized industries where they are used are:
